Offerings
I offer one-on-one learning for people seeking connection with Jewish text or tradition—whether you’re building text skills, exploring Judaism from a new angle, deepening your learning, or preparing for conversion. I especially love working with folks who have felt like there wasn’t a place for them in traditional spaces.
For many people, study of traditional Jewish text comes with a huge range of emotions – from joy and excitement, to fear of inadequacy, to alienation, grief, rage, or trauma. I welcome everything that you bring to the text. I want to learn your Torah alongside you.
My offerings include:
-
Skill-building in Tanach (Hebrew Bible), rabbinic texts (Mishnah, Talmud, Midrash), and Siddur
-
Learning rooted in Disability Torah and in queer, trans, and feminist interpretive traditions
-
Somatic Theology – a set of practices I’ve developed to help people feel traditional texts in their bodies, connect them to emotional experience, and run with them in sacred imagination. These practices emerge from my own years of wrestling with Jewish texts, especially my struggle to relate to typical portrayals of God.
